Ayurvedic workshops & webinars

Are you interested in the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda? Then this is the perfect opportunity to deepen your understanding.

As a passionate Ayurvedic therapist I love to share its wisdom. Therefore I offer workshops/webinars, each going into a specific subject.

NOTE: Due to Corona there are no face-to-face workshops scheduled. However, please look below to see what online webinars I have scheduled and book your spot.

The workshops/webinars are suited for those who are new to Ayurveda, and less to those who study Ayurveda already on a deeper level (practitioners and therapists). You don’t need to have any Ayurvedic knowledge to participate in the workshops.

The workshops/webinars give you an overall understanding of the Ayurvedic perspective on the matter, but does not substitute for personalised care from a certified Ayurvedic practitioner.

Don’t worry if you are Dutch and have at times difficulties understanding English, I’ll be happy to translate whenever needed.

Spring and fall are the ultimate times to detoxify the body. Ayurvedic detox is not about juice fasting, raw food or losing weight, but about removing “ama” (waste) from the body, so that nutrients are properly absorbed and the system can recover. You will learn all about it in this unique Ayurvedic workshop.

What is Ayurvedic food? Many people think that Ayurvedic food means that you should eat Indian food: nothing could be further from the truth! Ayurveda can be applied to any kitchen and is therefore a universal science.

Only a number of general rules, and your current doshic balance/imbalance must be taken into account. In this workshop I explain how you can take your own constitution into account in a playful and creative way, without having to give up your own kitchen! When you eat according to your constitution you will be more balanced, have better digestion and a stronger immune system.

Tuesday June 16: Webex webinar from 7:00 – 8:30 pm – Price € 15,-

Many people suffer from chronic stress, which affects the digestive system, the nervous system, the hormone system and so on. Ayurveda has a special but also very logical approach to stress. In this workshop you will learn how you can counteract stress and thereby calm your nervous system. We discuss the possibilities of nutrition, daily routine, herbs, massage and will work with a number of simple but very effective yoga and breathing exercises.

I am very happy to be able to give this workshop. At the end of 2014, I had a burnout myself. The insights I gained through Ayurveda helped me tremendously in my recovery and still help me find peace at times of stress.

In our Western society we experience many biological disruptions, like jet lags, artificial lights, working evening/night shifts etc. These disruptions make us humans to lose our connection with nature. During this workshop you will learn about a daily Ayurvedic ritual. The daily ritual – called Dinacharya – promotes your body and mind to reconnect to the rhythms of nature and therefore to resolve numerous complaints and prevent disease.
