Nourish dry skin with Ayurvedic mask

Do you also suffer from dry and maybe even little gray skin?

It is winter, the season that Kapha (consisting of the element Earth and Water) prevails. The gunas (qualities) that characterize this season are: cool, heavy/dull, static, hard, dense and slimy (look at nature, you see these qualities all around). However, since we are living in a very windy country due to our sea climate, also the element Air is very present. This element brings in the guna ‘dry’. The effects of these gunas work into every corner of our body & mind. I experience it the most in my hair and skin. My skin has become dry, looks a bit grey (read dull) and can become rough through the wind.
In order to balance the skin we have to bring in opposite qualities. Therefore this face-mask has the qualities oily, soft, smooth, warm. It nourishes the skin and creates a vibrant glow.
And soooo easy!

Recipe nourishing face-mask:
* Mix 2 teaspoons of coconut oil with 1 teaspoon organic good quality honey.
* Massage for 2 min into your face.
* Leave for 10 min, and wash off.

You can do this Daily.

Good luck and let me know how it works for you!
